Alzheimer's Advocacy Forum, March 7-9 in Washington, D.C.

As the growing Alzheimer population continues to strain an already fragile healthcare system, our legislators must understand the urgent need to increase federal research funding for Alzheimer's disease.

Come to the Alzheimer's Association Advocacy Forum in Washington this March – so they can hear this from you.

You're the person with Alzheimer's whose life changed with the diagnosis.

You're the caregiver bearing the emotional and financial toll.

You're the loved one watching your family member struggle.

Tell your story.

Yours is a voice of change.

At our Alzheimer's Action Summit, Alzheimer's Association advocates — people like you — will gather in our nation's capital to speak directly to elected officials about their Alzheimer experience.

Bringing together people from all walks of life, the Summit offers the opportunity to learn about Alzheimer's disease, create dialogue about this important issue and train to deliver key policy messages to lawmakers. It is the only Alzheimer-themed event of its kind on Capitol Hill.

Join us in Washington, D.C., March 7-9, 2010, for a momentous three days of action in the fight against Alzheimer's.

Summit Events:

Advocacy Forum - Begins at 4pm Sunday March 7, 2010

Diversity Dialogue - We're pleased to announce that our 2010 agenda features veteran political strategist, author and educator Donna Brazile.

National Alzheimer's Gala - Many of our country's most influential and respected political, business, social leaders and philanthropic have joined together through this event to lead the fight against Alzheimer's disease. Raising more than $1 million annually, the National Alzheimer's Gala has quickly become one of the premier fundraising events in the nation's capital.
