August 23-29 - Buffalo Wild Wings Dine out – Raise money!
We are partnering with Buffalo Wild Wings as their organization of the week. Come on out and have lunch or dinner anytime between Monday, 8/23 and Sunday, 8/29. To participate, you must present the “coupon” provided by Buffalo Wild Wings. Your receipt will be stapled to the coupon card – from there they will donate 15% of the proceeds earned to Memory Walk. “Coupons” are limited – contact a Steering Committee member to reserve yours today.
September 11 - Day in the Park
We will be participating in Lynchburg's Day in the Park located in Miller Park. This is a great time to share Alzheimer's facts and information. We’ll share "memory games" with the children and their parents/grandparents. Two hour shifts are available from 9:30am-3:30pm.
September 25 - Wal-Mart Tabling Event
Sign up to help out at the Madison Heights Wal-Mart tabling event. Two hour shifts will be available from 8am-2pm.
October 8 - Lynchburg College's Mini Walk
LC is hosting a Mini Walk again this year. More information to come.
October 9 and 10 - Garlic Festival
Sign up to help out at the annual Garlic Festival at Rebec Vineyard on Route 29 North. This is a two day event so volunteers are will be in high demand for this one! Time slots available both Saturday and Sunday from 10am-5pm.
October 14 - Cash Bash Night at Texas Roadhouse
Texas Roadhouse on Wards Road will be hosting our first Cash Bash Night this year. Cash Bashes are your opportunity to turn in your cash/check donations and pick up your t-shirt early! Join us for food and fun! Volunteers are also needed to support this event.
October 15 - Cash Bash Night at Depot Grille
Our second cash bash night will be held at the Depot Grille. Cash Bashes are your opportunity to turn in your cash/check donations and pick up your t-shirt early! Join us for food and fun!
Volunteers are also needed to support this event.

Jewelry Show, September 11: Dream Weavers will be hosting a jewelry show at Brightview Baldwin Park. Woodland Studios from Charlottesville will have handmade jewelry for sale. The “Bag Ladies” will also be selling tote bags and purses made from plastic grocery bags. Free refreshments will be provided.
