General information about the disease Alzheimer’s is a disease characterized by lower intellectual functioning of the person, with a consequent loss of memory and impaired thinking. The patient with Alzheimer undergoes a drastic change in personality, prone to become depressed or irritated. The person and can not follow instructions suffers confusion and disorientation in time and space and may even be lost in familiar places for him.
